The cover art for Arum's upcoming new album 'Occult Cataclysm-The New Era Rises' is unveiled  below. The album was recorded at Mr Som Studio, in Sao Paulo, Brazil and mixed at Noise Farm Studio Texas. Plans for mastering are underway and an announcement will be made about this shortly.

'Occult Cataclysm-The New Era Rises' will be released later this year and will be preceded by the EP 'Prelude To The Cataclysm' which will be released early this summer. 'Prelude To The Cataclysm' will contain  2 new tracks from the 'Occult...' album  'Lord Of Ancient Forest' and 'Prometheus: Liberty and Desire'. Also featured will be 2 covers 'Playing Chess with the Devil' (Canis Lupus) and 'Cry Wolf' by Venom. The EP will also feature the band's debut video for 'Garden of Lost Souls'.

Musically, the band have honed and sharpened their sound on 'Occult Catclysm-The New Era Rises' compared to 'Inhuman Echoes From The Shadows' [KZ01] and have produced a black metal album that is far more progressive in its writing with some incredible interaction between drum bass and guitar showing the band have settled in a line up that will be definitive for this band with some tight yet, melodic tempo changes while revealing a tighter edge and a more precise hard hitting work that will appeal to many fans of both blackmetal and traditional heavy metal.
